“Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind.” – Rudyard Kipling
Lori had been working with my daughter on articulation when I realized she needed help with reading as well. Lori was the clear choice for the additional support- she’s my daughters favorite person and my daughter is always so excited for their sessions. The first day that they worked on reading, I heard excited cheering coming from Lori during the session. When we all checked in at the end I saw why- my daughter was reading!! After months learning unsuccessfully in school, she was reading for the first time!! I cried as she read about 20 words, all prepared for her as mini booklets with letters she could flip through with the word stems in the back. Lori has a true gift- were so lucky to have her in our lives! -- Renee K.

"Lori's work with my daughter has been exceptional. She has a warm and engaging approach in her work with my daughter. "Our daughter has had countless therapists over the year. We’ve been fortunate that all of her therapists have been professional and caring. But Lori Lesser is one of those rare professionals who stands out as one of the best. Lori literally and figuratively goes the extra mile. She not only works well with our daughter, but she makes an effort to coordinate services with our daughter’s other therapists and doctors. She helps us decide on new therapies, researches new techniques that would be relevant to our child’s particular issues, and is in constant communication with us. Best of all, our daughter loves working with Lori – Lori makes the sessions both useful and fun for our little girl." - Thomas V.
"Working with Lori, my daughter has developed the tools to communicate more effectively, particularly with her writing. Lori has provided her with the strategies to analyze texts and organize her thoughts in response to questions on written materials. Thanks to Lori she is living up to her potential and doing very well in her high school classes.” – Elizabeth S.
