Lori had been working with my daughter on articulation when I realized she needed help with reading as well. Lori was the clear choice for the additional support- she’s my daughters favorite person and my daughter is always so excited for their sessions. The first day that they worked on reading, I heard excited cheering coming from Lori during the session. When we all checked in at the end I saw why- my daughter was reading!! After months learning unsuccessfully in school, she was reading for the first time!! I cried as she read about 20 words, all prepared for her as mini booklets with letters she could flip through with the word stems in the back.
